In the year 2010, Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Rigzin was invited to Ipoh, Malaysia, to give dharma teachings and perform ritual pujas. Mrs. Dolma Sew Wai Mun met Ven. Khenpo Tsewang for the first time at that dharma event. At the event, she noticed his compassion towards devotees, honesty, humbleness and dedication. She was deeply overwhelmed by Khenpo's nature.
Then, she visited Pal Ewam Namgyal Monastic School in Pokhara, Nepal, that year. She saw the limited resources and pity situation of the school. She was amazed that everyone, including children, staff and Khenpo himself, seemed very satisfied and happy even with such limited facilities.
Mrs. Dolma Sew Wai Mun says," Khenpo's dedication towards school was beyond my imagination. Due to inadequate rooms, teachers and volunteers had to stay in tents while children had to sleep crowdedly in a small bedroom eating simple meals. Still being able to smile with gratitude moved my eyes to tears."
She also says," The precious human rebirth and to meet Buddha's profound teachings are rare. Thus, I made my mind that I will invest this life in helping the school and being a disciple of Ven. Khenpo Tsewang."
Since then, she began to assist Ven. Khenpo Tsewang in organizing his dharma activities and promoting the school for donations and help. In 2014 with the blessings of Lineage Guru and Ven. Khenpo Tsewang, she finally registered “PERSATUAN PENGANUT AGAMA BUDDHA SAKYA MAHA KARUNA IPOH” and in year 2015 she moved to 126,JALAN SULTAN AZLAN SHAH , 31650 ,IPOH, PERAK, MALAYSIA.
In 2011, she initiated the TASHI DELEK COLLECTION shop as encouraged by Khenpo Tsewang. This shop trades Tibetan Buddhism dharma essentials, elements and accessories. The main aims of this shop and Dharma Center are:
To generate profit for the school donation.
To propagate Tibetan Buddhism around the world.
To promote a Dharma channel of helping dharma friends.
To provide Dharma advice.
To encourage people to stay in a peaceful mind.
On a closing note, Mrs. Dolma Sew Wai Mun says," Khenpo Tsewang has always inspired me to work for the benefit of others. This advice is the initial and root value for the rest of my life."
